TechCrunch has picked up our latest investment into NZ-based StretchSense as the company launches its European operations from Scotland.
Par Equity led the $7.6m Series A round alongside GD1 (Global From Day One) and Scottish Enterprise.
Combining proprietary sensor technology and machine learning, StretchSense has developed the most comfortable, reliable, and accurate motion capture glove on the market. The team already work with over 200 games studios and have ambitious plans to play a critical role in how we engage with virtual reality.
The funding will support the growth of a centre of excellence in Edinburgh, which is focused on AI and spatial computing to evolve and improve the product.
