We're delighted to welcome Gigged.AI to the Par portfolio as part of its £1.6m Seed round alongside Techstart Ventures LLP, Nile and a number of leading entrepreneurs.
Gigged.AI deploys AI-matching algorithms to help businesses source and onboard on-demand tech talent, while enabling SMEs and larger corporates to retain existing staff. In the UK alone, gig economy workers have tripled over the last five years, while Future of Work trends have been heavily impacted by the pandemic and ensuing remote or distributed workforces and, more recently, tech sector layoffs against a recessionary economic backdrop.
We are looking forward to supporting Rich Wilson, Craig Short and the larger Gigged.AI team on their growth journey as the company scales the team and builds further commercial traction on the back of significant growth trends and opportunity in the hiring market.
