Background
Sunny joined Par Equity in February 2024 from Committed Capital in London where he spent four years investing in early and growth stage technology businesses. As well as investment execution, Sunny was also involved in helping portfolio companies fulfil their growth plans and preparing them for eventual exit. Prior to Committed Capital, Sunny worked in the M&A and Financial Due Diligence teams at Mazars, advising PE houses and Corporates on the buy-side and SMEs on sell-side lead advisory mandates as well as on debt advisory transactions.
Sunny holds a BSc in Investment and Financial Risk Management from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) City University London, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with ICAEW. More recently, Sunny completed Executive Education in Private Equity and Venture Capital at Harvard Business School, and is a Newton Venture Fellow from London Business School.
Outside of the office, Sunny enjoys following sport, travelling, and trying new restaurants. One day he hopes to amalgamate all three passions by following a cricket tour in the Caribbean, whilst trying to find the best jerk chicken.
