Background
Lizzy joined Par Equity in January 2024 from ACF Investors who co-invest alongside sector-smart angel syndicates into early-stage UK businesses, where she specialised in healthTech and deepTech investments. Prior to ACF Investors, Lizzy undertook a PhD in Medical Engineering at the University of Leeds, researching the vascular pathophysiology of non-traumatic spinal cord injury through the build of a physiological digital twin. During her time in academia, she undertook a secondment within a digital health startup, designing a co-pilot tool for women in the maternity pathway. She also worked at Creator Fund to build out the Northern pre-seed ecosystem for students and University spinouts.
On weekends, Lizzy is often dotting around the country chasing tasty food and new experiences.
