The company
PureLiFi is a light communication company that was founded by Prof. Harald Haas and Dr Mostafa Afgani in 2012 as a spin out of the University of Edinburgh to create OEM components, including LiFi drivers and receivers. The business is currently led by CEO Alistair Banham and chaired by Mike Hickey.
The company seeks to resolve the global struggle for diminishing wireless capacity resulting in the Spectrum Crunch. They are developing and delivering technology for secure, reliable, high-speed communication networks that seamlessly integrate data and lighting utility infrastructures and significantly reduce energy consumption.
